Local Performance Monitoring and Alerts

Digital displays on the front of the refrigerator show the current vaccine chamber temperature and any active alarms (temperature excursion, door left open, low holdover), so health workers can easily see whether the unit is operating properly and decide if any corrective action needs to be taken. The temperature and alarm history for the past month (30 DTR data) can also be reviewed on the display and downloaded through a USB port.

The MetaFridge remote performance monitoring feature is an option. This powerful tool allows technicians and supervisors to be sure that their equipment is functioning properly. When a problem occurs, the system sends out an alert so that the issue can be resolved before the vaccines are at risk. Remote data can be quickly and easily transmitted to technicians who can diagnose more complicated issues or notify their supervisors about problems that are not resolved quickly. The remaining holdover calculator allows users to determine how much time they have to respond to a problem, so they can make informed decisions about the best use of their resources.
